Hi ,
As bloggers we gain a breadth and depth of skills and experience that are often hard-earned, but then we move past that learning curve and take what we know for granted.
So sometimes we need to remind ourselves of the value we are creating.
This past week, a ProBlogger Job Board employer came to me wondering if by advertising they might attract bloggers with a very specialist skill-set. Initially I chuckled to myself and thought "you're dreaming", but then I took it as a challenge and looked at our list of registered Candidates who've set up their own free resume page on the site.
Firstly, I was surprised that we now have over 3,000 Candidate resume pages - not all available for public view, but I can view them as an administrator.
Secondly, I was even more surprised that this very specific keyword-search turned up around 30 Candidates (1%) who would be a good match for this employer. A great result!
I want you to hear this little story and think about what you have built on your blog already (or what you plan to).
What would surprise you?
Now I need to figure out how I can scale and offer the ProBlogger Talent Search service... (LOL)
You can always do more than you think you can.
