Hi , How's your blogging week been? Following on from last week's blog post on how to write compelling content for your blog is this week's article explaining how to keep fresh content coming on your blog by planning the future content that you'll be producing. I've also included an older post that explores what sort of content you should publish on your blog to help you grow traffic by looking back at some of the earliest posts that I wrote on Digital Photography School and talking a little about how each contributed to the growth of the site. The article talks about first-year posts but the principles remain the same each and
every year. If you, or someone you know, is starting a blog, my FREE Ultimate Guide to Start a Blog Course will set you off on the right path, guiding you through 7 steps to start your own
blog. In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities, but in the expert's mind there are few. ― Shunryu Suzuki

What sort of content should you publish on your blog to help you grow traffic in your first year? There is no right or wrong answer to that question, but I thought it might be
fun to look back at some of the earliest posts that I wrote on Digital Photography School and talk a little about how each contributed to the growth of the site.

Back in November of 2002 when I first hit ‘publish’ on my original (and short lived) Blogspot Blog I did so believing that this ‘blogging thing’, which I’d only just heard of, would be a bit of fun. I started for a number of reasons but in short it was curiosity and the hope of a new hobby and perhaps some new connections that drew me to it. At the time I was working three
jobs. Over time, through hard work and discipline, using the techniques I’m going to share with you in these courses, my blogs have grown from a hobby (some would say an obsession), to a part-time, then a full-time job, all the way through to a fully fledged business employing a team of people.
