Hi , How's your week going? Down-under at ProBlogger HQ, Summer school holidays ended, and our three boys went back to school - and while that means a quieter work day for me, all of their extracurricular activities have started up again. One of the things that I find hardest in busy periods is putting aside a little time
to be silent, still, and to contemplate. Contemplation gets crowded out - and I know I suffer as a result. So, I thought I'd share with you this week's prompt from my Find Your Spark blog which is to chase Contemplation.

Website security becomes more and more important the bigger your blog gets. My web developer constantly monitors my website security and gives me regular updates. But security is important for every blogger, not just those who have their own web developer. Which is why I wanted to let you know that Siteground (my recommended web hosting provider for whom I am also an affiliate) now performs automated security checks for websites they host, covering malware protection, SSL certificates, software exploits, brute force attacks, and
other security areas. Then they give you an overall site security score as well as a breakdown score for each security check and actionable tips if some area needs your attention. So if security is important to you (and it should be), it's worth checking out Siteground as your web hosting provider.

Back in November of 2002 when I first hit ‘publish’ on my original (and short lived) Blogspot Blog I did so believing that this ‘blogging thing’, which I’d only just heard of, would be a bit of fun. I started for a number of reasons but in short it was curiosity and the hope of a new hobby and perhaps some new connections that drew me to it. At the time I was working three
jobs. Over time, through hard work and discipline, using the techniques I’m going to share with you in these courses, my blogs have grown from a hobby (some would say an obsession), to a part-time, then a full-time job, all the way through to a fully fledged business employing a team of people.
