Maintaining Momentum in Blogging [PLUS From 0 to Six Figures in Two Years – A Recipe Blogger Shares Her Story]
Published: Thu, 04/13/23
Hi ,
How's your blogging week been?
I wrote last week about battling blogger's block and this week I'm going to continue that theme a little more with more tips for once you get out of that rut about how to maintain your blogging momentum.
Momentum begets momentum,
and the best way to start is to start. - Gil Penchina
In today’s episode, we’re continuing our series of blogger stories. I wanna introduce you to a friend of mine, who, back in 2008, started a blog that would document what she was having for dinner every night in the hope that it will help others on a budget
to cook affordable, healthy meals for their families as well. It’s such a simple idea but one that this blogger has grown into a blog with millions of readers and six figure income.
Hear a little bit more about their blogging journey as they share:
a mistake they made starting out
something they’re grateful that
they did
a tip for new bloggers
something good that’s happened since they started.

Back in November of 2002 when I first hit ‘publish’ on my original (and short lived) Blogspot Blog I did so believing that this ‘blogging thing’, which I’d only just heard of, would be a bit of fun. I started for a number of reasons but in short it was curiosity and the hope of a new hobby and perhaps some new connections that drew me to it. At the time I was working three
jobs.
Over time, through hard work and discipline, using the techniques I’m going to share with you in these courses, my blogs have grown from a hobby (some would say an obsession), to a part-time, then a full-time job, all the way through to a fully fledged business employing a team of people.
