Hi
As I look out my office window writing this email, I see some beautiful mature trees. They don't just make for lovely scenery, these big old trees benefit the environment around them in myriad ways, providing habitat for all manner of critters and creating their own microclimate.
Amazingly, these mature trees require hardly any maintenance: yes you may have to trim a dead branch now and then, but their roots go deep enough not to need extra watering.
The best time to plant a tree is twenty years ago.
The second best time is now.

When you think about it, your blog posts are a bit like trees. You publish them, tend to them when they're young (with some SEO and social media), then largely leave them alone to attract readers and create a nice environment around your blog.
This week's blog post talks about how to look after your mature blog posts - to keep them in good shape and benefiting your blog.
