How to Take Magazine Quality Milky Way Photographs
Published: Tue, 09/19/17
When photographer Josh Dunlop first started taking shots of the night sky, he was a little disappointed with the results. They just didn’t resemble the crisp images he'd seen some of his peers taking.
Perhaps you’ve felt the same… experimenting with shutter speed, aperture and ISO to try to get that perfect night sky shot.
Or maybe you thought you’d need expensive equipment so you haven’t attempted night time photography at all.
Instead of giving up, Josh decided to attended a closed-door workshop with master Milky Way photographer, Casey Keirnan. One of the best in the world at what he does.
His work has won the Gila Timelapse Film Festival, the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival and the California Film Awards. His pictures have been featured in CBS News, Al Jazeera, History Channel and more.
Normally the experts keep astro photography techniques close to the vest, because they can charge hefty fees for training. But Josh convinced Casey to collaborate on an online course aimed at teaching any level photographer the “secret” to exceptional astro photography.
And I’ll give you a hint… you don’t need expensive equipment.
If you want to learn how to take amazing photographs of the night sky, taught with common language by one of the best in the world, then check out this amazing online training from Josh and Casey.
It’s available exclusively at a very special price for dPS subscribers… for 1 week only.
Let Josh tell you more about it here.
All the Best,
