You may have heard that Jim Hamel has completely updated his 31 Days to Becoming a Better Photographer course, because we’ve been getting more and more emails, comments and requests from past students about whether it’s possible to join the new Facebook group and upcoming 31 Days to Becoming a Better Photographer courses.
(If you're interested, we do have a special offer just for you...)
And yes, I did mean to say courses (plural), because Jim has evolved the original course into 3 courses, each with a different focus:
- 31 Days to Get Off Auto will teach you how to take control of the exposure mode of your camera so you can capture the kind of images you’re after. You paid a lot for your camera and if you’re not taking control of this exposure mode then
you’re really not taking advantage of all your camera can do and getting full value from it.
- 31 Days to Better Composition unravels this ‘mystery’ most photographers don’t understand and don’t know where to start. Mastering composition will allow you to take meaningful photographs as opposed to mere snapshots.
- 31 Days to Better Post-Processing will help you understand all of those overwhelming controls in processing your images. This course will let you harness the power of post-processing and let you do it in a simple manner. You will learn
what you do and don’t need to know to make targeted adjustments to your pictures to really make them pop.
The new courses cover the same ground and follow a similar format to the original course, but with all new content. Each course includes:
- Hours of video - individual video tutorials (on average 10-15 minutes each) covering every course module clearly explaining and showing the concepts being demonstrated - perfect for both visual and auditory learners
- Written information supplements - printable mini-guides for each topic of the course and comprise between 76 - 127 pages for each course. Downloadable and printable additional information for those who learn best by reading
- Practical assignments - 1 for each step of the course - to help you consolidate what you have learned and really useful for kinesthetic learners to get hands on out in the field
- PLUS a supportive and interactive Facebook group full of other budding photographers just like you and hosted in-person by the course instructor (the expert photographer teaching you in all the videos)
Until now, the only way to get back into Jim’s class and support group was by purchasing the course again. Each of the new courses cost $59 USD and the 3-course series costs $127 USD. Today he’s agreed to offer a ‘refresher’ option to his previous students to join the current class.
For just $31 USD you can jump back in the class and get Jim’s wonderful support and encouragement from other students to get you through all of the materials.
Your exclusive discount link below will ensure your saving is applied to the course sales price. The discount will only apply if you click through from your email. You’ll receive instructions on how to join the group with your receipt.
But why would I need to do a refresher?
- Maybe you didn’t get through the whole course last time?
Things come up, life gets busy and sometimes our good intentions are not enough. I think most of us have an unfinished something somewhere! This is a great chance to reclaim the amazing value Jim provides if you weren’t able to join the group or get through the course the first time around.
- Perhaps you’re curious to re-visit the assignments and compare your progress?
Jim can help you build on what you’ve already learned and put into practice. And you’ll be able to see how far you’ve come since first doing the course.
- You’re keen to learn even more from Jim
All students get a two for one offer on Jim’s Lightroom and Night Photography courses, and he’s agreed to provide support on both courses in the Facebook group. You can add his discounted courses at the checkout when you buy the Refresher option.
We would love to see some of you back in the course!
Best wishes,
Darren and the team at dPS
